2014: publications

FTC Global has following works to publish planned and executed:

1. Content contributions: Luo Peilin Biography, written by Liu Jiuru and Tang Jing, sponsored by a State program managed by China Association of Sciences, it was published by China Higher Education Publisher in April 2013. Luo Jin contributed various reference materials, drafted a continuing timeline events from 1993 (after Dr. Luo’s own version published along with The Collection of Works by Luo Peilin), and contents for the Chapter of the Luo’s family. This book is also published by Jiaotong University Publishing House, titled as Actions Bond with Principles, Wisdoms known without Boundary.

2. Publishing Coordination: Prof. Amy Yang’s Selective Readings of Ci in Tang and Song Dynasty was published in August 2014 by China Bureau of Book Publish House. An earlier version of the work, non-registered, was published previously by Art Publisher of People’s Liberation Army, by a Prof. Yang’s student of her first career in Nankai Middle School.

3. Sponsor and Participate in Publishing: Amy and Dr. Luo’s Poetry and Ci Collection. This book collects private creations and works of the couple’s. Including five Amy’s works in 1930’s which survived the destruction during the Cultural Revolution. This work is designated to publish before end of 2014. Prof. Wang Dehou (Amy’s student of Beijing Normal University) is the editor. Luo Jin contributes material preparation and draft editing.

4. Writing: Authorized by Chinese Academy of Engineering, Luo Jin is the writer of a new Luo Peiling Biography, which is based on his 120,000-character draft outline of the autobiography. And Tang Jing’s earlier writing would cover Dr. Luo’s bureaucrat career 1953-1993. This book is designated be to co-published by People’s Literature Publisher and China Higher Education Publisher. Expected to be completed in 2014, the book coincides with 20th Anniversary of formation of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

5. In 2013, it designed and sponsored the Dr. Luo’s 100th Birthday Memorial Letter which are sending to his life-time friends, former-colleagues and associates. The letter was drafted by Mrs. Luo, designated to send out from Dr. Luo’s 100’s birth date (December 30, 2013) through the coming Chinese New Year (January 30, 2014).
