FTC Global, LLC signed an overseas incubator strategic collaboration agreement that was signed with Guangzhou Ocean of Starts Design Center, Ltd. on October 19, 2014. The two parties will start a portfolio exchange and share program to co-build each party’s representative offices on the other site. This initiates a series of collaborations to help US designs prototyped and pilot manufactured in China, then transfer to China industry to fulfill US and China market demands.
This initiative is following a present trend in China of incubating advanced source products from US talents, to boost its export industries toward high-end and high add-value markets in the world. The China state incentizes private sectors for such programs to help the industrial transition.
The sites to administrate the portfolio exchange program are respectively in University City, Guangzhou, China, and Los Angeles, CA, USA. The sites for extended pilot productions are in Panyu Industrial District, Guangzhou, China and City of Commerce, CA, USA.
Ocean of Stars Design Center, Ltd. is a private ownership management company that successfully developed and operates Guangzhou Integrated Circuits Design Center (GZICC), which is certified by China State Ministry of Science & Technologies, of its 10+1 design incubators program.
